The game is live now, no longer beta.
Some new things are active and more little surprises.

So far the fun rooms seem to be the slime room, where you can push a button and get slimed.  And then there is the bumpercars. 
Also watch for glowing speres as you can earn nickpoints from them.  Also keep up on the easy way to get cards for nick e-collectables.  You can sell them and get more stuff on Nicktropolis (some really nice wallpapers are out there for your room.  This is mainly a chat game.  But it is still enjoyable.  To a point. 

One big plus is the program is not as powerful as VMK so there is less slowdown.  Take a look and see what you think.  Me, I like VMK and neo more.  But it is still a distraction from the dispair that is orbit.

and a talking NPC Parrot
also Nicktropolis opened up a lounge with one of their tv's in it.  If you havent watched the Tv you may want to.  Danny Phantom and Avatar are on two of the channels!

Heh, I was able to buy some stuff, too. I bought some furniture, and also several room decors (walls and floors). I didn't get to place any of it in my room, though. I wonder what they really look like?

Customizable characters with clothes you get to buy, don't know when this started but it is very nice..
